Capability Building & Training For Entrepreneurial Skilling

One of the areas of concern as an organization is how to empower young people with business skills. . In Uganda, over 70% of the population live in the rural or semi-urban areas and majority of whom are between the ages of 16 to 40 years. This ideally should be most productive age of life, unfortunately they are most unemployed group contributing to 4.2% unemployment rate in Uganda.

So, under this program, inspire, train and equip young people with skills to do business for self-employment. More than 300 young people have been trained and are now working together in business clubs. These clubs manage enterprises like poultry, piggery, bee keeping, rabbit keeping, hot culture, and small businesses. We look forward to support these clubs more in areas of value addition and marketing.
